Sharjah authorities announced on Thursday that the old Wadi Al Helu tunnel would be closed until the first quarter of 2023. The route will be closed as the construction work on the Jebel Dim Rest project is scheduled to begin. The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the closure on social media. Drivers are urged to temporarily use the new Wadi Al Helo tunnel to reach their destination while the construction is ongoing. The authority has apologized for any inconvenience caused to road users due to the construction. BKM/ Expat Media
