Sharjah Civil Defence teams swiftly extinguished a fire that broke out in a residential apartment in the Al Nabba'a area, ensuring no injuries occurred. The incident was reported to the Operations Room of the Sharjah Police General Command on Saturday (August 31), where a fire was detected in an apartment on the fourth floor of a building. Upon receiving the alert, civil defence vehicles, police patrols, and the National Ambulance quickly responded to the scene. Firefighting teams immediately started efforts to control the blaze and evacuate the building's residents. The fire, which originated from tools and equipment stored on the apartment balcony, produced dense smoke but was contained in record time, preventing it from spreading to other units. The Sharjah Civil Defence Authority has urged residents to avoid using balconies for storage and to adhere strictly to safety and prevention guidelines. In case of fires, residents are encouraged to report promptly using designated emergency numbers to protect lives and property.
