Sharjah begins second round of Covid-19 test for elderly

  SHARJAH – The second stage of Covid-19 home testing for the elderly and their household members is underway in Sharjah, according to the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD). The community initiative aims to reach them at their homes without the need to visit hospitals or health centres to conduct the tests. The testing is part of precautionary and preventive measures taken by the Health Ministry and the SSSD to protect the health of the elderly members in Sharjah. Afaf Ibrahim Al Marri, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Head of SSSD, has highlighted the importance of conducting these tests.
