Sharjah builds Covid-19 field hospital for serious cases
DUBAI – A new field hospital to treat serious cases of Covid-19 is being built in Sharjah as the UAE continued to curb the rising number of infections in the country. Sharjah Police chief Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi said that the Sharjah facility will be ready within a month and will accept patients from anywhere in the UAE. “We will be ready, if required, to receive infected cases that need intensive care in a field hospital in the emirate,” Al Shamsi told local media. The field hospital is being constructed near Al Zahia area in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
