Sharjah employee honoured for returning cash found in Tadbeer

  SHARJAH – An employee at Tadbeer in Sharjah has been honored for her honesty after she returned Dh10,000 that she found at her workplace. Maryam Al Muhairi was working at Tadbeer Centre in Sharjah’s Al Nasiriya area when she found the money left behind by a customer. She searched in vain for the owner. "After spotting the cash, I waited for a while, hoping that the owner would come back. When that did not happen, I went over to the police station," she said. She handed over the cash to Al Garb Police station in Sharjah where police praised her for her honesty. Brigadier General Ahmad Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations at Sharjah Police General Headquarters, said Al Muhairi's honesty was worth emulating. Al Muhairi was honoured with a certificate of appreciation by top officials at Al Gharb Comprehensive Police Station.
