Under the directives of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Executive Council (SEC) issued a decision granting a 50% discount on attestation fees for late rental contracts in the Emirate of Sharjah until the end of this year. The changes were announced at the SEC meeting on Tuesday, which was presided over by Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and SEC Chairman. The meeting discussed the agenda topics concerning following up on the progress of government work and discussing the general policies of all government departments and bodies in the Emirate of Sharjah. The SEC discussed a report on the efforts of the Department of Economic Development to support and develop the economic and industrial sectors in cooperation with all authorities. The report outlined the department's initiatives and activities, including the formation of supporting and organizing committees for the economic situation and participation in federal and local committees concerned with the department's scope of competence. The report advocated for developing the economic and industrial environment's legislative structure to keep up with the rapid advancements in technological and digital transformations, opportunities, and modern areas. It also advocated for investors' and entrepreneurs' best possible services and incentives. The report also discussed the department's participation in several national economic projects to improve the UAE economy's competitiveness and achieve strategic goals. The SEC recognized all efforts in support of the economic environment, emphasizing the importance of following up on all aspects of economic work to provide all services, overcome obstacles, and create a stimulating environment for the economic sector to grow without harming the social, security, cultural, and other sectors.
