The Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh will expand its services to residents in the northern emirates starting January 1, 2025. Renamed Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, the 200-bed facility will continue to serve military personnel and their families while offering cutting-edge healthcare to the broader community. The hospital will be managed and operated by M42 and has family and internal medicine, diabetes management and endocrinology, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, urology, among its expansive services. The facility has six operating rooms, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, a radiology department, emergency care, and an intensive care unit, along with multiple procedure rooms. Dr. Aysha Sultan Aldhaheri, Executive Director at the UAE Ministry of Defence, described the partnership with M42 as “historic.” “Our focus is to deliver world-class medical care for everyone in the Northern Emirates,” said Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, M42’s CEO.
