Worker receives award for his initiative to help motorists. Sharjah Police

Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak Bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored a worker on Thursday at Sharjah Police Headquarters for his initiative to help. In a viral video clip, the worker was shown erecting barriers in front of a sandy plaza in Saja'a that had converted into a massive sinkhole due to severe rains to alert cars and road users to grave dangers. The award was given as part of an effort to increase social responsibility by encouraging constructive behavior among members of society and highlighting their heroic contributions to saving others' lives and safeguarding them from danger. Bin Amer emphasized Sharjah Police's desire to recognize individuals who work with them to increase the sense of social and humanitarian duty, necessitating them to perform tasks outside their regular responsibilities.
