Sharjah Police, in collaboration with the National Guard's National Search and Rescue Centre, has successfully rescued three Emiratis who sustained moderate to minor injuries in a motorcycle accident in the Central Region desert. The rescue operation took place after a report was received by the Central Operations Room on Friday evening (October 11). The report, which was filed at 6:22pm, indicated that a rented motorcycle had crashed in a remote desert area. Responding promptly, Sharjah Police dispatched specialized rescue teams and coordinated with the National Ambulance to provide immediate medical attention to the injured individuals. Given the challenging terrain of the accident site, Sharjah Police called in support from the National Search and Rescue Centre. Rescue aircraft were deployed to airlift the injured to Al Dhaid Hospital for further treatment. Sharjah Police stressed the importance of adhering to safety protocols while engaging in desert activities. "We urge residents to exercise caution when venturing into remote desert areas and to avoid risky terrains. It is essential to follow designated safety routes and ensure proper planning before engaging in such activities," a police spokesperson said.
