The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has reduced fares on intercity buses by up to Dh3 amid a drop in the price of diesel this month. Fares are now Dh1 or Dh2 cheaper on shorter routes, while the fare has been reduced by up to Dh3 on longer routes. For May, the price of diesel was reduced by 12 fils, costing Dh2,91 per litre instead of Dh3.03 in the previous month. This was the third consecutive month that the price of diesel has gone down in the UAE. ICA/Expat Media
