Sharjah reopens passenger transportation services after the floods

After being suspended on July 28 due to the UAE's constant rain and flooding, passenger transport services to Fujairah and Kalba have resumed their operations. The passenger transport service to the eastern regions was temporarily suspended by Sharjah's Road and Transport Authority. After clearing and reopening the roads, authorities declared on Monday (August 1) that passenger transportation services to Fujairah and Kalba via intercity buses - 611 lines (Sharjah-Fujairah-Kalba) will resume operations. Meanwhile, services to Khorfakkan via the 116 (Sharjah-Fujairah-Khorfakkan) line are still suspended until further notice.
