The ruler of Sharjah has allocated Dh1.1 billion to help more than 2,000 citizens pay off their debts. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, ordered the funding to settle the debts of citizens, including those facing financial issues. According to state news website WAM, a total of 2,212 people were given assistance by the Debts Settlement Committee for Sharjah Nationals. The latest batch of beneficiaries include 126 individuals owing a total debt of Dh75.824 million. Their cases were brought before the committee. ICA/Expat Media
