The Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, gave the order to build a facility for treating mental illnesses on Wednesday. The Sharjah Ruler also mentioned that the facility would perform semi-custodial work for people with a mental health conditions, supervising the required sedation doses and returning them safely to their families. According to Sharjah Ruler, one of the center's primary duties is to monitor patients psychologically and physically. BKM/ Expat Media
