Blaze put out after a few minutes; fire started from a chimney of one of the restos in the food court

  SHARJAH – An investigation is ongoing to find out the cause of a fire in Sahara Center. No one was hurt or killed in the blaze on Friday, according to Sharjah Civil Defense. Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Sharjah Civil Defense director, said the fire on Friday started in the chimney of one of the resturants in the mall's food court. People were evacuated from the mall when the fire alarm went off. Firemen were able put out the blaze after a few minutes.
