Sharjah City Municipality has announced public parking timings for Ramadan, with fees applying daily from 8am until midnight across the city. Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah City Municipality, said inspection teams from the Public Parking Department will intensify field rounds to ensure compliance and prevent misuse of parking spaces. He said this move aims to enhance discipline and maintain smooth traffic flow across different areas. Parking spaces around mosques will be free for one hour from the time of the azan to make it easier for worshippers to attend prayers. Al Tunaiji clarified that smart parking lots operate under a separate system, and the approved Ramadan timing does not apply to them. Residents are advised to check signage and ensure payment is made during designated hours to avoid fines. ICA/Expat Media
