The Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, has issued an Emiri Decree on the supplementary grant for insured beneficiaries and salaried individuals in the emirate. A supplementary grant equal to the difference between the entitled pension percentage provided by the Fund and the full pension amount based on the employee's full length of service must be given to eligible beneficiaries of insured individuals under the Sharjah Social Security Fund and those receiving salaries from the fund who passed away naturally, according to the decree. Starting on the regular date of pension payout for the month of May 2023, the Sharjah Social Security Fund shall transfer the difference, along with the pensions to qualified recipients.
