Sharjah toddler in critical condition after falling into water bucket

  SHARJAH – An 18-month-old Emirati girl is in critical condition after she fell into a water bucket in her family’s home in Sharjah. Police on Monday identified the toddler as M.A.S. She is currently receiving treatment at Al Qasimi Hospital. Police said that the toddler was left to roam alone in the family’s home in Al Ramaqiyah area when the incident occurred. It is believed that the toddler was submerged in water for more than 30 minutes before the housemaid discovered her. The family had used the water bucket as a receptacle for dripping water from the air conditioning unit in the property.
