Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has captured global attention after responding to a viral video of a young Kenyan boy expressing his dream of visiting Dubai. The Dubai Crown Prince, who also serves as UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, shared the video on his Instagram Stories and extended a personal message to the child. “It will make me very happy to see you in Dubai, hopefully very soon,” Sheikh Hamdan wrote. Sheikh Hamdan, known for his active social media presence, regularly shares moments from his personal and public life, often engaging with followers around the world. The video, originally posted by the boy’s mother, Maria Nyambane, shows her son Milan becoming emotional as he talks about wanting to travel to Dubai. In the clip, the toddler’s innocence resonated with viewers as he described Dubai in imaginative terms, saying, “Dubai is a planet.” Nyambane is seen calmly comforting her son as he cries, reassuring him that she will work towards making his dream come true. “I don’t know how to make that yet, but I will work so, so, so hard to earn money to take you to Dubai. Is that okay? Now, can you breathe?” she tells him. Milan responds, “I need you to get me money and then we go to Dubai.” His mother continues to reassure him, saying, “Yes, I’ll get money and we’ll go to Dubai. I will work hard and take you there. Is that okay? First, breathe. I know you have big feelings, and I know you’re sad you’re not going to Dubai right now.” The child replies, “I need to go to Dubai right now… Dubai is good.” The interaction has drawn widespread attention online, highlighting Dubai’s global appeal even among young children.
