Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has visited the survivors of a tragic accident that killed four UAE Armed Forces servicemen. The accident on Tuesday (September 24) occurred while the soldiers were on duty, and left nine personnel injured, who are now receiving treatment at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi. During his visit on Wednesday (September 25), Sheikh Hamdan extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and offered words of encouragement to the wounded servicemen. He praised their dedication to protecting the UAE and described their sacrifices as an enduring symbol of loyalty and service to the nation. Sharing pictures of his hospital visit on X (formerly Twitter), Sheikh Hamdan wrote, "The sacrifices of our Armed Forces heroes and martyrs will always remain in our hearts and minds." He added that their devotion to safeguarding the UAE’s progress sets an inspiring example for all citizens. Sheikh Hamdan also met with medical professionals at the hospital and was briefed on the condition of the injured servicemen. He commended the healthcare team for their efforts in treating the soldiers. The injured servicemen expressed their gratitude for Sheikh Hamdan’s visit and reaffirmed their commitment to serving the UAE, despite the personal risks involved.
