Sheikh Mohammed announces advance salaries for federal workers
UAE federal government employees will receive their salary in advance on Monday (April 17), it was announced on Monday (April 10). Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered that salaries will be paid in advance. The directive is aimed at helping families to shop and prepare for the Eid holidays. The start of Eid is expected on April 20. The UAE’s moon sighting committee has yet to make an official announcement. The Eid Al Fitr festival will mark the first long weekend of 2023 if it starts on April 20 and will continue until April 23.
