A Dubai customer service employee has received high praise from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, after being recognized by a mystery shopper for his dedication and exceptional service. Sheikh Mohammed took to X (formerly Twitter) to commend Yousef Mohammed Abdullah, who works at the Customer Service Center for Vehicle Inspection and Registration in Al Qusais. "In a recent report I received from a mystery shopper at the Customer Service Center for Vehicle Inspection and Registration in Al Qusais, we followed Yousef Mohammed Abdullah, a hardworking, cheerful young man who takes the initiative to serve people and is eager to complete their transactions,” Sheikh Mohammed said. The Dubai Ruler highlighted how customers gravitate toward Abdullah, appreciating his efficiency and warm approach. “Customers flock to him and thank him for his service,” he noted. Sheikh Mohammed also emphasized his commitment to recognizing and supporting hardworking employees across the emirate. “Greetings, Yousef. We follow you and other young men and women who are dedicated to serving people and committed to preserving Dubai’s reputation,” he wrote. Sheikh Mohammed has been relying on the mystery shopper initiative since it was launched in the 1990s to get honest feedback on government services. A mystery shopper is an individual who secretly assesses customer service quality by posing as a regular customer. Their reports help businesses and government entities evaluate and improve service standards.
