Sheikh Mohammed visits Dubai’s first vertical urban resort

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited OneOnly One Za’abeel, the first vertical urban resort in Dubai. During the visit on Thursday (January 18), Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council; Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Managing Director, Investment Corporation of Dubai. The One&Only One Za’abeel features the longest infinity pool in Dubai that stretches 120 metres and is situated above a skyway and 100 metres above ground. The urban resort was developed by Kerzner International and has 15 floors with 229 opulent hotel rooms and suites. It was opened in early January. During Sheikh Mohammed’s visit on Thursday, he noted Dubai’s success in "delivering exceptional tourism services and facilities," saying it is part of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to make the city one of the world's top three urban economies.
