The Shukran Festival returns for its third year — bigger, brighter, and more inspiring — as it debuts the youth pageant Search for the Prince and Princess of Shukran 2025. Running every weekend from November 15 to December 13, the month-long celebration will take place at Sahara Centre in Sharjah. The festivities will culminate in a Grand Coronation and Celebrity Night on December 13, featuring live performances, awards, and a special guest appearance by Kapamilya artist Bela. Josie Conlu, Co-Producer and Community Champion, said: “It’s inspiring to see how Shukran has evolved into a platform for the youth to lead, express and connect. The Prince and Princess of Shukran search is not about beauty — it’s about character, compassion and confidence.” Following its successful 2024 run at Al Rigga Night Market, Shukran 2025 continues its mission to promote gratitude, unity, and inclusivity — values at the heart of the UAE’s multicultural identity. The event also coincides with the UAE’s 54th National Day, serving as a “thank you” to the nation for its generosity and spirit of coexistence. Organized by Infinite Communities in partnership with Manny Johnson Production, The Filipino Channel (TFC), Sahara Centre, and Penz Global, the festival aims to empower youth and strengthen cross-cultural harmony through entertainment, education, and community engagement. Elena Cruz, Founder and CEO of Infinite Communities, said: “Shukran has grown into a tradition that unites people from all walks of life. As we celebrate our third year, we’re putting the spotlight on Youth Health and Well-Being — because empowered, healthy youth build empowered communities.” Festival highlights include: • Search for the Prince and Princess of Shukran 2025 – Open to youth aged 15–20 of all nationalities, focusing on health, well-being, and character. Winners will receive prizes and wear handcrafted Shukran Crowns by Miss Fab Jewellery. • Band Jamboree – A live showcase of youth bands performing pop, rock, and fusion hits. • Cultural and modern performances – A celebration of the UAE’s diverse communities through dance and music. • Grand Coronation Night – A spectacular finale honoring young role models for leadership and wellness.
