Travelers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) can now skip long queues and baggage waits, thanks to a new service that delivers luggage directly to homes and hotels. The airport’s travel services arm, marhaba, has partnered with logistics firm DUBZ to roll out an integrated baggage service experience for arriving and departing passengers. Three new offerings have been added: • Check-in anywhere: Travelers can check in from home, hotel, or office, with boarding passes issued and luggage collected on-site. • Land and leave: Arriving passengers can skip baggage claim altogether, with their luggage delivered to their doorstep within hours. • Baggage storage and delivery: Provides temporary storage or same-day delivery options across the UAE. “We’re seeing a fundamental shift in how people want to travel,” said Jaffar Dawood, Divisional Senior Vice President for UAE Airport Operations at dnata. “Speed and convenience are what passengers are demanding.” According to a Global Passenger Survey by IATA, 70 percent of travelers prefer to check in their luggage in advance to avoid queues. The new services align with this trend and position marhaba as one of the few global providers offering a fully integrated airport-to-door travel experience. These services can now be booked through marhabaservices.com or at designated service points across Dubai.
