Dubai is set to welcome Filipino singing sensation and The Voice US Season 26 winner, Sofronio Vasquez, for his first-ever concert in the emirate, organizer Luxurist CBM House Events confirmed to Expat Media. Speaking to Expat Media, JM Palmares Avelino, an event organizer, shared that the “Sofronio Live in Dubai” concert, tentatively scheduled for May, will be a celebration of dreams and resilience. “This is not just for the UAE but the entire Middle East. His journey is a testament that no dream is too big,” Avelino said. Winning The Voice US has propelled Vasquez into the global spotlight. Beyond the glitz and glamour, he admitted to being overwhelmed yet grateful. "People recognize me everywhere now. It’s surreal," he shared. The talented singer recently signed a deal with Republic Records under Universal Music Group, with rumors swirling about a potential duet with music icon Michael Bublé. As he prepares for his Dubai concert, Vasquez will also headline the renowned Sinulog Festival in Cebu later this month, his first major live event in the Philippines since his win.
