Sharjah Police said the Asian suspect had swindled a large number of people, using what he claimed was “magic powder” that can solve all their problems with money. He was caught in an undercover operation, with a policeman posing as a customer. The suspect, who works as a painter, was charged with “acts of sorcery and charlatanism”. He confessed to the crime.
