A brief history

Launched in 2004, Souk Madinat Jumeirah was created under the vision of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The  destination was envisioned to reimagine local history for the modern era, drawing inspiration from the iconic Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood and Dubai Creek.

In 20 years, Souk Madinat Jumeirah has become a beloved destination that brings local culture and heritage to life through winding corridors reminiscent of traditional markets, serene waterways, and Sikka-inspired architecture.
