South African doctor in Dubai wins Personality of the Year at Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards

A South African doctor in Dubai has been named Personality of the Year at the Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards in Dubai. Aloysia Ogle said she was “pleasantly shocked” to win the award. “Thank you for recognizing what we do to help change the world in our own little way,” Ogle said. The South African forensic medical doctor is also a philantrophist, children’s book author and business woman. She owns Protea Professional Services, which supports budding writers. Meanwhile, UAE national Abdulrazagh "Abu Nader" Mohammadi, the founder and CEO of the Philippine Supermarket, took home the award for Supermarket of the Year. Special awardees included Mary Grace Ramos (Philanthropic Spirit Award), Lilac Schonbert (Outstanding Achievement in Aerospace); Marcel Oyson Velez (Beauty Industry Pioneer of the Year); Eulyn Enojo (Corporate Accountant Award); Dr. Sayed Ali (Couture Entrepreneur of the Year), and Roneth Closa (Innovator of Green Engineering Award). Businesses that received recognition included LM Exchange (Best Global Money Transfer Service), Philippine Supermarket (Merchandising Company of the Year) and Chinagate Restaurant (Restaurant of the Year). The second Dubai Vibes Eminent Awards was held on Saturday (April 29) at the Bristol Hotel.
