Foodies and seafood lovers, rejoice! Spice Grill, a Filipino-owned restaurant brand, has just opened its third UAE branch — this time in the heart of BurJuman mall’s Food Pavilion. The launch, held on May 1, saw excited foodies sample some of the restaurant’s signature dishes, from spicy seafood buckets to sizzling rice bowls. The restaurant caters to early birds, too, with a hearty breakfast fare. From just Dh10, you can enjoy the vegetable omelet, while classic Filipino silog meals like Tapsilog (Dh23), Chicken Tocilog (Dh19), and Bangsilog (Dh25) bring flavors of home to the breakfast table. Spice Grill co-founder Lourds Adalla-Evertse took the opportunity to unveil the restaurant's newest offerings—classic Filipino breakfast favorites including tapsilog, bangsilog, tocilog, and a hearty vegetable omelette. “We’re excited to share these new breakfast dishes that bring a taste of home to our kababayans in Dubai,” she said. Spice Grill also offers comfort food in rice bowl form. One crowd favorite? The Wagyu Silog Bowl (Dh49), a Filipino twist on a steak and egg breakfast — featuring grilled Wagyu rib-eye, bone marrow, and sunny-side-up egg over fried rice. What stood out was the restaurant’s classic Cajun-style seafood feast — a mouth-watering mix of crabs, shrimp, mussels, clams, and corn, drenched in rich Cajun sauce for just Dh159. For a creamier twist, diners can try the version with salted egg sauce for Dh162. Each seafood spread includes unlimited rice, a liter of water, and a refreshing liter of mocktail (don’t miss the Hibiscus!). The experience channels the fun of kamayan-style eating with the convenience of a mall setting. Spice Grill operates branches in Al Majaz Waterfront, Sharjah, and Flayva Food Hall at Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai.
