Man who stabbed compatriot dead in Ajman arrested

Ajman police have arrested the suspect in the murder of an Asian man in Ajman. The incident happened in Al Hamidiya 1 area, according to Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Bin Yafour Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Ajman Police. The suspect, also Asian, is now in police custody and is expected to face a criminal case at the Public Prosecution. The police official said that the victim’s neighbours called the police when they heard “shouting and fighting” in the room. Police did not say when the incident occurred. Responding police officers arrested the suspect as he was trying to leave the scene of the crime. During interrogation, he told police that he killed his compatriot due to a family dispute in their country. ICA/Expat Media
