Filipino hitmaker TJ Monterde is set to return to the UAE with a spectacular finale concert that promises not just music, but also fireworks to light up the Abu Dhabi sky on December 2. Organizers confirmed to Expat Media on Sunday (September 28) that Monterde’s much-awaited Sarili Nating Mundo concert at 321 Sports Arena, Hudayriyat Island, will conclude with a fireworks display at around 10:30pm. “The fireworks will be during his finale song, which concludes his world tour in Abu Dhabi and also to celebrate UAE National Day,” organizers told Expat Media. The Abu Dhabi show marks the 40th and final leg of Monterde’s global Sarili Nating Mundo Tour, which has captivated audiences worldwide. The singer, known for his heartfelt hits like Palagi, recently made waves with a sold-out performance at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in July, and his three-day historic run at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in the Philippines. Adding to the excitement, Monterde’s wife and award-winning singer KZ Tandingan will join him on stage, along with concert director John Prats, making the finale a star-studded affair. Tickets, which start at Dh299, are available at sarilinatingmundoauh.ae. Organizers revealed that demand has been overwhelming. “TJ Monterde’s Abu Dhabi concert selling very fast. One category went sold out in just 24 hours,” they said. While standard right terrace tickets are already sold out, other categories remain open for booking. The event is produced by Cornerstone Concerts, Ahead Unlimited, and ProXperts Events, and coincides with the UAE’s 53rd National Day holiday, promising fans a night to remember filled with OPM hits and a fireworks spectacle to close the celebrations. With more than one billion Spotify streams, Monterde is currently one of the top OPM artists globally.
