TKI Wagyu Trading, a Dubai-based supplier of premium Japanese beef, has continued its operations amid ongoing regional challenges, supported by established supply systems and internal coordination. The company, which imports wagyu beef from Japan, said its logistics model allows it to maintain consistent supply. According to CEO Takahiro Mogi, all beef shipments are transported frozen, reducing the risk of disruption. “Even in normal times, our beef is always shipped frozen from Japan to the UAE, so there is no immediate concern,” Mogi said. He also expressed confidence in the UAE’s operating environment. “Dubai is also a very resilient city with strong leadership and global connections. I believe in the long-term future of Dubai and the opportunities here,” he said. TKI said it manages the full supply chain, including sourcing, processing, storage and delivery, to maintain product quality and food safety standards. The company works directly with producers in Japan and oversees logistics through to final delivery. “TKI prioritizes consistency, food safety, and traceability, building strong trust with chefs and restaurants through reliable, high-quality products,” Mogi said. The company also highlighted the role of internal coordination in maintaining operations. “I trust my managers and employees. We value communication, stability and continuity. We do our best to protect jobs and keep the team united,” he said. TKI Wagyu Trading operates across multiple markets, including GCC countries and selected international locations, and supplies restaurants such as Kimuraya, Mogiya, Hisaya and Omakaseya in the UAE. In addition to wagyu beef, the company imports other products from Japan, including seafood items such as sea urchin and oysters, following similar handling standards. “Prices are based on the true quality and origin of the product, allowing customers to receive authentic Japanese wagyu at a fair and transparent value,” Mogi said.
