Toll free travel on Al Maktoum Bridge on Fridays

  DUBAI – Motorists travelling through Al Maktoum Bridge will not be charged Salik toll fees on Friday, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Maitha bin Adai, CEO of RTA’s Traffic & Roads Agency, made the announcement on Monday (April 24) after saying that the Floating Bridge will be closed during the weekend from 10 p.m. on Thursday until 6 a.m. on Saturday. “The extended duration of the Floating Bridge closure will be matched by a corresponding extension of the free crossing over Al Maktoum Bridge," Bin Adai said.
