Top 10 most viewed LinkedIn profiles in UAE bared

  UAE's professionals from the public and private sectors made it to the list of LinkedIn's Power Profile List. The list enumerated 45 individuals whose profiles are the most viewed in the world's largest professional network in their respective fields of endeavor. "Our LinkedIn Power Profiles list is a celebration of professionals who have understood the importance of investing in their online personal brand and have succeeded in growing their employer's brand by becoming its ambassadors. These Power Profiles are skillfully growing their professional networks online and sharing insights on areas that they are passionate about. This is the first time that LinkedIn compiled a list of Power Profiles in the UAE for 2016. Among those included in the list are: 1. Dr. Aisha Bin Bishr Director General of the Smart Dubai Office, the government entity charged with overseeing Dubai's smart transformation, engaging with leadership in the public and private sector to make Dubai a global benchmark smart city. Previously, Bishr was assistant director general of the executive office of UAE Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 2. Issam Kazim Kazim is the chief executive of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), the agency responsible for the branding, promotion and marketing of Dubai to the world. 3. Haitham Mattar Mattar is a Lebanese-American business executive and CEO of the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. He holds an MBA in marketing from the United Kingdom's University of Liverpool. 4. Hamad Buamim He is the president and chief executive officer of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Educated in the US, Buamim graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. In 2002, he obtained an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, USA. 5. Hatem Dowidar Chief executive officer at Etisalat Group. Prior to joining Etisalat Group, Mr. Dowidar was the Group Chief of Staff for Vodafone Group based in London, reporting to Vodafone Group chief executive officer. He has over 24 years of experience in multinational companies, 18 years of which were spent in the telecommunications industry 6. Peter Baumgartner A Swiss businessman, Baumgartner is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Etihad Airways, a position he had held since May 2016. Baumgartner previously worked for Swissair and was chief operating officer of Etihad before being promoted to CEO. 7. Elie Khouri Khouri is a Lebanese-French marketing and communications executive in Dubai. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Omnicom Media Group MENA, the media services division of the Omnicom Group and is regarded as one of the most influential marketing executives in the Arab world. 8. Fadi Ghosn Ghosn is one of the top executives in the automotive industry in the Middle East and is the current marketing director/chief marketing officer for Nissan Middle East. He possesses a wealth of experience in the automobile industry. 9. Nisreen Shocair She is the resident of Virgin Megastore Middle East and North Africa. She is also a TV personality. Nisreen held various positions in the music publishing, licensing, digital entertainment and retail industries at Sony Music, Bertelsmann AG and Hearst Entertainment in United States, UK and Germany. She is a co-founder of Collage Foundation, the brainchild of model Angela Lindvall, which aims to enable youth's participation in sustainability projects within their communities and schools, providing them with a platform to share ideas. 10. Philippe Zuber He is the president and chief operating officer for One&Only Resorts. Zuber has over 20 years in the hospitality segment, having held both operational and corporate senior leadership positions. Most recently, he was with Emaar Hospitality where, in his capacity of Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw the operations and development of projects for the group.
