  1. Turn off the lights, and unplug unnecessary electrical appliances
  1. Make sure that there are no leaks within your homes, by checking all taps and internal wiring in the bathrooms and kitchens. These leaks can waste over 32,000 gallons of water per year.
  1. Turn off all taps before leaving the house.
