Cristiano Ronaldo Ronaldo is the first player in the 25 seasons of the Champions League era to score in three finals. He was named man of the match in the Champions League final. The Portugal forward scored two goals in the 4-1 win over Juventus at the Millennium Stadium. Mario Mandzukic The Croatian forward took a chipped pass from Gonzalo Higuain on his chest and looped an overhead kick beyond the despairing dive of Keylor Navas for one of the great Champions League final goals. Luka Modric Modric was constantly present on this game, controlling the midfield and allowing Real to dominate the ball. Gianluigi Buffon The veteran Italy goalkeeper hardly made an impact on this match and wasn’t able to do much about the first two goals that both took cruel deflections. But whether he was to blame or not, the goalkeeping great failed to make a positive difference.
