Tristar Group, in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has resumed its road safety awareness campaign in schools across Dubai for the 2024-2025 academic year. The campaign kicked off at The Indian High School in Garhoud, where students were introduced to key road safety concepts in an interactive and engaging manner. As part of the initiative, Tristar’s “Kids Traffic Arena” was set up on school grounds, allowing young students to drive pedal cars on a simulated road. Through this hands-on approach, children were taught essential road safety rules, such as obeying traffic signals, stopping at pedestrian crossings, and always wearing seat belts. This initiative is part of a broader effort to instill lifelong road safety habits in children at a young age. By involving students in practical lessons, the program ensures they not only understand road safety principles but also become advocates for these rules within their families. Since its inception in 2023, the Tristar-RTA road safety campaign has reached over 350,000 students across Dubai. Last year, Tristar’s efforts were recognized by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with a prestigious award, cementing the campaign’s impact on public safety. The road safety awareness campaign aligns with the United Nations’ Global Plan for Road Safety Decade of Action (2021-2030), which aims to halve road traffic deaths and injuries worldwide.
