US President Donald Trump said the United States could end its military operations in Iran within two to three weeks. Speaking to reporters at the White House on Tuesday (April 1 in UAE), Trump said that ending the war does not depend on reaching an agreement with Tehran. He noted that the revised timeline extends earlier estimates from the White House, which had projected the conflict to last between four and six weeks. Trump said the US has already achieved its main objective of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He added that regime change in Iran was not part of Washington’s planned goals. According to Trump, negotiations are ongoing, describing Iran’s participation in talks as a positive development. However, he stressed that even without a formal agreement, the United States is prepared to conclude its military operations within the stated timeframe. ICA/Expat Media
