Abu Dhabi's food safety authority has closed two restaurants for violating food safety laws and posing a danger to public health. The closures, announced on Thursday (September 26), follow recent inspections by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA). The first restaurant, Koukab Zuhal, located in Musaffah Industrial City, was shut down after authorities found serious violations that compromised public health. Similarly, Panoor restaurant in Mohammed Bin Zayed City was closed for engaging in practices that presented a high risk to consumers' safety. These closures are part of an ongoing campaign by ADAFSA to ensure food establishments in the capital comply with strict hygiene and safety standards. Earlier in the month, another restaurant was also shut down due to health risks, and in July, two restaurants were closed for serving hazardous food items and violating hygiene regulations. ADAFSA continues to monitor food outlets across Abu Dhabi, urging establishments to adhere to health and safety laws.
