Two Arab men are now in jail for stealing boxes of Panadol from a pharmacy in Dubai. The Dubai Misdemeanor Court sentenced the duo to one month in jail and fined them Dh248. They will be deported after serving their jail term. According to records, the men stole seven boxes of Panadol from a pharmacy after one of them distracted the pharmacist and the other man hid the medicine in his bag. The incident happened in the Al Nahda area last November when the pharmacist reported the theft. She told police that the duo inquired about an anti-fungal medicine. She said that as she showed them some medicine, she noticed one of the men putting boxes of Panadol in his bag. When she confronted them, they fled the pharmacy. A team of investigators were able to track down and arrest the duo, who confessed to their crime. ICA/Expat Media
