UAE: 10 private schools ranks among top 100 in the world

According to Spear's luxury lifestyle magazine, ten private schools in the UAE are among the top 100 worldwide. Brighton College Abu Dhabi and Dubai College are among the top 15 Middle Eastern institutions that contribute to the annual global list. The best schools in the UK were Eton College, Cheltenham Ladies College, and Gordonstoun School, while the best schools in the US included Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles and Groton School, an Ivy League feeding school. According to Spear's and Carfax Education data, North London Collegiate School in Dubai was the most costly day school in the Middle East, charging up to Dh106,600 ($29,022) per year in tuition. King's Academy in Jordan may charge $53,250 per year for boarding. Many of the UK schools on the list segregate boys and girls, while those in the US, Middle East, Asia, and Europe are mainly co-educational.
