UAE airlines have extended flight suspensions to multiple destinations due to regional instability following US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites and ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. Emirates has suspended flights to Tehran, Baghdad, and Basra until June 30, while Etihad Airways has halted flights to Tel Aviv until July 15. Etihad stated: “This remains a highly dynamic situation. Additional disruptions may occur at short notice. Etihad is coordinating closely with authorities and taking all necessary precautions.” Flydubai also announced suspensions for flights to and from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Israel, and St. Petersburg until June 30. Passengers traveling through Dubai to affected destinations will not be accepted for travel from their origin. Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, has stopped flights to and from Iran, Iraq, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Jordan until June 25. Aviation experts warn that the US involvement may further destabilize the region, leading to more airspace closures.
