The UAE’s Ministry of Defence has alerted the public to expect loud sounds and increased military activity involving aircraft and armoured vehicles on Yas Island starting at 4:30pm on Friday (September 22). These activities are part of the ongoing preparations for the "Union Fortress 9" military parade, scheduled to take place in November in Abu Dhabi. The Ministry of Defence is preparing for a “unique live showcase” for the audience at the military parade that will showcase the UAE Armed Forces. The military parade is aimed at highlighting the UAE's military prowess and techniques. The Union Fortress 9 military parade is open to the public. Visitors can head to Yas Island or watch from the giant screens positioned on both sides of the main platform and display site. ICA/Expat Media
