UAE announces 2,232 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

  DUBAI – The UAE recorded 2,232 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 851,537 as of Thursday (February 3). The infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and receiving the necessary care, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). The ministry said the latest infected cases were detected after authorities conducted 491,658 additional Covid-19 tests over the past 24 hours. MoHAP also announced two deaths due to Covid-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 2,253. The ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished Covid-19 patients a speedy and full recovery. MoHAP also noted that an additional 1,427 individuals had fully recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 780,893. ICA/Expat Media
