The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced fuel prices for October 2025, with motorists set to see a slight increase at the pumps starting October 1. According to the committee’s update on Tuesday (September 30), Super 98 petrol will cost Dh2.77 per litre, up from Dh2.70 in September. Special 95 petrol will now be priced at Dh2.66 per litre, compared to Dh2.58 previously. E-Plus 91 petrol will be Dh2.58 per litre, rising from Dh2.51, while diesel will be sold at Dh2.71 per litre, up from Dh2.66. The monthly price adjustments are part of the UAE’s policy of deregulating fuel prices, which was introduced in 2015 to align domestic fuel rates with global oil markets. Despite the increase, the UAE continues to rank among the 25 countries with the lowest fuel prices worldwide, with petrol averaging Dh2.58 per litre. Fuel prices have a direct impact on transportation costs and, by extension, the cost of goods and services. Stable pricing plays a crucial role in helping control inflation across the country.
