The UAE has announced the new petrol and diesel prices for September 2025, which will take effect starting September 1. According to the Fuel Price Committee, petrol prices have increased slightly compared to August, while diesel prices recorded a notable drop. Here are the revised fuel rates for September: • Super 98 petrol: Dh2.70 per litre (up from Dh2.69 in August) • Special 95 petrol: Dh2.58 per litre (up from Dh2.57) • E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.51 per litre (up from Dh2.50) • Diesel: Dh2.66 per litre (down from Dh2.78) In August, fuel prices dipped by just one fil after a slight increase in July. The September adjustment reflects marginal hikes in petrol costs, while diesel users will benefit from a more noticeable price cut of 12 fils per litre. The new rates will remain in effect throughout September. The monthly revision of UAE fuel prices, introduced in 2015, aligns local rates with global oil price movements.
