Where to get free, cheap Covid-19 PCR tests before school starts

Thousands of students in the UAE are getting ready for the start of a new school year. Along with the necessary preparations, government school employees, students above the age of 12, teachers, administrators, and service providers, are required to present a negative PCR test result no later than 96 hours before the start of the new school year. Listed below are some of the facilities that can offer PCR tests for an affordable cost: Any Emirates Health Services (EHS)-operated facility in all seven Emirates can provide a PCR test without cost to UAE residents who fit specific eligible categories. Residents can only make appointments in advance. The Covid-19 EHS app allows residents to schedule appointments and locate the centers. The Iranian Hospital in Dubai offers a unique discount for Covid-19 PCR testing for Dh50 only to students and instructors in schools and colleges to help enable a smooth start to the academic year. To receive this exclusive discount, show your ID card as a student, teacher, or employee. Covid-19 screenings are also available through SEHA for Dh50 or for free for Emiratis. Residents can schedule visits via the Seha app, and results will be available in 48 hours. The centers are open to the public from 10 am to 8 pm. First Response Healthcare (FRH) will send a nurse with PPE gear in place of you traveling through Dubai traffic and waiting in line for a test at the mall, the closest hospital, medical center, clinic, or drive-through. On the FHR website, reservations can be made for Dh99. PCR testing is available at NMC Healthcare's branches in Dubai for Dh100 in Deira and Dh120 in Al Nahda. Right Health center at the Al Quoz Mall offers PCR tests for Dh90 without an appointment. Results are provided within approximately 12 to 24 hours, and the travel-related certificate is also valid.
