UAE: You can now have lost items delivered to your doorstep
The police have started a new program where they will deliver lost and found things to people's homes. The Sharjah Police Department will provide the lost item delivery service to the people of Sharjah to raise living standards. The implementation of the first phase of the service has already taken place, as confirmed by Colonel Yousef bin Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department of the Sharjah Police. He further mentioned that the service achieved a completion rate of 97 percent. The initiative was launched last June in cooperation with Osoul Smart Applications Company (Buraq). According to Colonel bin Harmoul, "receipt and delivery of found service" at the Wasit Comprehensive Police Station has been accomplished in its initial phase. Other police precincts have begun implementing the second stage of Buhaira Comprehensive Police. The initiative is aligned with the Ministry of the Interior's policy to maximize consumer satisfaction with its services.
