As the UAE transitions from summer to autumn, residents can look forward to a gradual drop in temperatures. The autumn equinox, which will occur on September 23, 2024, marks the official end of summer and ushers in cooler months across the country. The autumn equinox, a celestial event where the sun aligns directly with the equator, will bring nearly equal daylight and night hours. This natural transition promises more comfortable weather for residents and tourists alike, making outdoor activities more enjoyable. Winter season in the UAE is expected to begin on December 21, said Dr. Ahmed Habib of the National Centre of Meteorology, the UAE's weather bureau. Meanwhile, Dubai’s popular outdoor destinations are preparing to reopen their doors as temperatures continue to cool. Dubai Safari Park is set to begin its sixth season on October 1, offering a new array of wildlife experiences. Global Village, another beloved attraction, will kick off its 29th season on October 16, running until May 11, 2025. Meanwhile, the picturesque Dubai Miracle Garden is also expected to announce its reopening date soon. With the reopening of key attractions, Dubai remains committed to offering diverse leisure experiences, making it a prime destination for both residents and tourists during the cooler months.
