A scammer who offered fake jobs has been ordered to repay Dh3,000 to a resident he scammed. According to records at Al Ain Court of First Instance, the Abu Dhabi resident met the defendant while looking for a job for his brother. The accused said he could get the young man a job for Dh3,000 and also process the visa. According to court documents, the resident agreed to pay the amount, but the accused failed to keep his promise and did not hire his brother for the role. According to the complainant, the man refused to return his money, prompting him to file a complaint. Investigations confirmed that the defendant took the money, and an eyewitness said he was in the car when the Dh3,000 was handed over. After hearing from all parties, the judge ordered the defendant to return the money and pay for all legal expenses. BKM/ Expat Media
